Ingredients

    Rutabagas, 3 cup, cubes
    Apples, fresh, 1 cup slices
    *Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
    12 tsp Butter unsalted
    3 tbsp Salt
    A Dash of cinnamon can be added if desired. Serves 5

Directions

Cook rutabaga slices in boiling salted water until just tender; drain. Place half of slices (rutabaga) and half of apple slices into a 1 quart casserole sprayed with Smart Balance Omega non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle with half of Splenda and dot with half of butter. Sprinkle with salt. Repeat layers. Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 5.
This goes great with any entre and is relatively calorie & carb friendly.
