    3/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    4 Tbsp unsalted butter softened
    1/2 cup dark brown sugar
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 large eggs
    3 Tbsp strong brewed coffee
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 cup lowfat buttermilk


preheat oven to 350 F. Line 12- cupcake tin with paper. In a large bowl combine flour,cocoa,baking powder,baking soda, and salt. In another large bowl beat butter and sugars with an electric beaater until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Beat in coffee and vanilla. Add flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk until batter is smooth. Fill cupcake cup 2/3 full and bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into middles comes out clean. \leave to cool in tin for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
