Introduction

Ingredients

    2&3/4 cups Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour
    1 tsp. Baking Soda
    1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1/3 cup Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    1 cup melted butter
    1 cup Granulated Sugar
    1/2 cup Brown Sugar
    1/4 cup (aka, 4tbsp) Light Corn Syrup
    1 large egg
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1 cup (aka, 16 tbsp.) Chocolate Chips

Directions

-Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
-Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cocoa to a large mixing bowl.
-In a saucepan melt 2 sticks of butter (1 cup) over low heat.
-Add both sugars, light corn syrup, and egg to melted butter; whisking until completely blended.
-Add butter mixture to flour mixture in the large mixing bowl.
-Whisk until mostly combined.
-Add walnuts and chocolate chips to cookie dough and fold in with a spatula, folding until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
-Drop cookie dough onto an un-greased baking sheet with a spoon (roughly 12 cookies per baking sheet).
-Bake for 10 minutes.
-Remove from baking sheet and transfer to a wire cooling rack.
-ENJOY!!!
