Introduction

Delicious, authentic, low-fat version of homemade taco meat. Delicious, authentic, low-fat version of homemade taco meat.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb. 93% lean ground turkey
    1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
    2 - 16 oz. cans of Hunts Diced Tomatoes
    1 green chili's
    1 T. chili powder
    1 T. oregano
    1 T. cumin powder
    1 medium onion, diced
    salt & pepper, to taste

Directions

Brown ground beet, diced onion and ground turkey. Remove from skillet, drain fat, wipe out skillet and return to skillet. Drain tomatoes and add to the meat mixture, along with the green chili peppers. Add all spices and cook until liqued is evaporated.

Serving Size: Makes 12 2.5 oz servings
