    1 3-4 lb broiler chicken
    6 cups water
    1 Package whole wheat wide egg noodles
    1 cup rough chopped raw cauliflower
    1 cup sliced raw carrots
    3 Bay leaves
    Celery salt to taste
    Garlic and onion powders to taste
    Other herbs and spices to taste


Place chicken in a crock pot with 1 cup water, the bay leaves and the other herbs and spices. Cook on high 2 hours or low 6 hours, till meat easily pulls away from the bone. Remove chicken from the pot, add in the rest of the water, and the vegetables. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes and then add in the noodles. In the mean time, remove the skin and debone the chicken. Cube the chicken and add it back into the pot. Cook until the noodles are done al dente.

Serve with a crusty bread and a nice salad.
