Ingredients

    2 cans pinto beans
    1 can kidney beans
    3 tbsp chili powder
    1/2 cup finely-chopped onions
    5 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    2 roasted green chiles, skinned & diced
    about 2/3 can chicken broth (1 cup)
    1 bottle light beer
    splenda brown sugar blend, 2 tsp
    1 large can crushed tomatoes (about 2 c)

Directions

add everything together in a crock pot and cook on low for at least 8 hours. salt and pepper to taste, and add more chili powder if you want it spicier. If it's too watery either leave uncovered for the last 4 hours or uncover after 8 hours on low and turn to high for 2 hours.

Serving Size: makes about 5 2-cup servings
