Ingredients

    1 pkg gardein chick’n wings
    3 Tbs vegan margarine (Earth Balance buttery spread)
    3 Tbs garlic clove, peeled & minced
    ½ cup yellow onion, diced
    2 Tbs chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
    2 tsp agave nectar (or 2 tsp sugar), maple syrup or brown rice syrup)
    5 Tbs ketchup
    1 Tbs vegan Worcestershire sauce (if unavailable, use soy sauce)
    1 Tbs cider vinegar

Directions

1. Soak bamboo skewers 1 hour prior to preparation.
2. Thaw one bag of gardein chick’n wingstake 2 wings in the palm of your hand and push together. form chick’n wings around bamboo skewer and set aside.
3. Heat non stick pan over medium high heat , melt vegan margarine and add garlic and onions , cook stirring frequently until golden.
4. Add chipotle chilies, agave nectar, ketchup, worcestershire sauce and cider vinegar stir well and cook for 5 minutes until sauce is thick and sticky.
5. In sauté pan over medium heat, add 1 Tbs oil. add skewered wings and cook 4-6 minutes until crispy and brown on both sides, be careful not to burn.
6. Brush liberally with spicy chipotle sauce.
