    Apples, fresh, 6 medium peeled, and chopped
    Cider Vinegar, 2 tbsp
    Water, 2 cup
    Brach's Cinnamon Imperials, 3 tbsp
    Grated Ginger Root, 1 tsp or more if you like


Peel, core and chop apples. Put apples, grated ginger, cider vinegar and water in a large sauce pan. Bring to a hard boil then simmer partially covered until apples are very tender, about 30 minutes. Add cinnamon candies and stir until dissolved. Turn off heat and let cool while completely covered.

Mash with a potato masher or spoon to desired consistency. Serve warm or cold.

Makes approx. 16 half cup servings (depends on apple size),
