Ingredients

    4 whole wheat pita breads, halved (or pork skins-substitute)
    olive oil spray
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp kosher salt
    1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
    4 strips bacon, cooked until crisp, finely chopped
    8 oz mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
    (or cream cheese can be used as substitute)
    3/4 cup sour cream
    1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

Directions

preheat oven to 450
cut each pita half into 4 wedges. arrange pita wedges in a single layer on baking sheet. spray w/olive oil spray, then sprinkle with the oregano, salt and pepper. Bake for 5-8min until crisp and golden
in bowl comine the bacon, mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese), sour cream, and chives. season with salt and pepper to taste. ready to eat!
arrange pita chips and dip on a platter and serve
*for a more low carb dish (under 3 carbs) serve with pork skins intead of pita chips
