    3 cups canned or jar spaghetti sauce (any variation will work EXCEPT with meat).

    4 oz. ground turkey (cooked)

    2 c. sliced fresh zucchini

    2 clove garlic, (chopped)

    Whole wheat pasta (prepared)


Add marinara sauce, zucchini, cooked ground turkey, garlic, (salt/pepper to taste) in a crockpot and simmer for 50-60 minutes. Prepare pasta at the last 10 minutes of crockpot dish. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top if you like.

Makes a HEARTY italian dish. Serve with side salad and a chunk of garlic bread.
