Introduction

I experimented with this when trying to figure out what to do with the 1/4 avocado I had left in the fridge! It turned out so yummy!! It has a great balance of carbs, fat, and protein and makes a great post-workout smoothie. Plus it's high in fiber and low in sugar! Ingredients

    1/4 avocado
    1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (calorie content will vary based on the type you use, I use Dymatize XT)
    1/3 medium banana
    1/4 tsp vanilla extract
    1 packet Purevia
    1 cup Almond Breeze unsweetened almond milk
    5 ice cubes

Directions

Put almond milk, protein powder, and ice cubes in blender and mix for a s few seconds, breaking up the ice. Then add remaining ingredients and blend to desired consistency.

Serving Size: Makes 1 smoothie (about 12 oz)
