Number of Servings: 18


    2-1/2 pounds of 93% lean ground beef
    Onions, chopped, 2 medium
    2 cans (15-oz.) diced tomatoes (your choice)
    V8 Tomato Juice cocktail, 1 cup
    Water, 2 cups
    2 cans (15-oz) chili beans, or other beans of your choice
    Chili power, 8T (I use two packages William's Chili Seasoning)


Chop onions. Brown ground beef and onions, then drain. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer. Can top with chopped onions (regular or green), cheese, if desired (not included in nutritional information). Freezes well.

  • I add cocoa powder, garlic, chopped bell peppers and whatever seasonings also grab my fancy. Especially like Mrs Dash Chili Lime seasoning and a New Orleans zippy seasoning. - 10/21/10
