Ingredients

    Whole Roaster Chicken
    Celery
    Carrots
    Onions
    Green Beans
    Corn
    Lima Beans
    Bisquick Dumplings

Directions

Put chicken in large soup pot, including gizzrds, heart, neck bones, and liver. Add rough chopped celery, onions, and carrots. Add chicken broth and 4 cups water. Bring to boil, reduce heat and let simmer covered for approximately 1 hour. (or longer). Remove chicken from pot and add corn, green beans, and lima beans. Bring to boil. Meanwhile debone chicken. Toss out gizzrards, liver, heart and neck bones. Chop meat into bit size pieces. Return to pot. In medium size bowl mix bisquick with milk. Set aside. Add flour and hot water. Stir until smooth. Add to boiling soup to thicken. Drop bisquick dumplings into boiling soup by large spoonfuls. Makes approximately 10 to 12 dumplings. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover and simmer for an additional 15 minutes or until dumplings are light and fluffy.
