Ingredients

2 packages crescent rolls
1/3 onion
1 lbs ground turkey lean
basil, dried (to taste)
garlic powder (to taste)
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
tomato paste 6 oz can
sesame seeds
Cheese mixture:
1 large egg
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
1 generous cup of low-fat cottage cheese
Directions
Stretch out one package of crescent rolls as one piece until casserole dish. Pinch seems. Repeat with second package on wax paper.
Brown ground turkey with onion. Add seasonings (basil, garlic powder, salt, pepper). Mix tomato paste in. Add more seasonings until preferred taste.
Blend together egg, Parmesan cheese, and cottage cheese
Slice mozzarella cheese into 1/8 inch slices
Add ground turkey to casserole dish, leaving 1 inch around edges.
Spread cheese mixture on top
Layer mozzarella cheese on top of cheese mixture.
Lift up wax paper and place lay crescent crust over casserole dish. Peel off wax paper. Lift up bottom crust and pinch together with upper crust. Sprinkle sesame seeds over top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, watching for crescent crust to lightly brown.
