    **pinto beans, dried great value, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 2 cloves (remove)
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz) (remove)
    *Hytop Tomato Sauce, 2 cup (remove)
    Basil, .33 tbsp (remove)
    **McCormick ground cumin, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Chili powder, 2 tbsp (remove)
    *1 bay leaf, 1 serving (remove)

    Salt to taste


Cook beans until almost tender

saute onions and garlic in olive oil, then add carrots, celery and spices.
When vegetables are slmost done, add green peppers. cook until tender . Combine all ingredients and cook on low for a few hours 4-5 hrs or in slow cooker on low all day 6-8 hrs
