Introduction
I wanted to make a healthy chili and this is what I came up with.. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! I wanted to make a healthy chili and this is what I came up with.. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

* *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 1 1/4 lbs
* Onions, raw, 1 medium
* Chili powder, 2.5 tbsp
* Pepper, red or cayenne, .5 tsp
* Stewed Tomatoes, 1 cup
* Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)
* Water, tap, 4 cup
* Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
* Garlic, 1 tsp
* Pepper, black, 1 tsp
* Beans, navy, 2 cup
Directions
brown turkey in large pot
add chopped up raw onion & garlic stir well
add paste and chopped stewed tomatoes
add 4 C of water
stir well
add all other ingredients let simmer for 3 hrs
serve with a dollop of sour cream and/or some Mexican cheese to top (note: sour cream & cheese are not included in the nutritional value of this meal)
