    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 16 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)
    Onions, raw, 0.5 cup, sliced (remove)
    Garlic, 4 clove (remove)
    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Salt, 1.5 tsp (remove)
    Brown Sugar, 4 tsp packed (remove)
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Basil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Paprika, 1 tsp (remove)
    Milk, 1%, 1 cup (remove)


Wash, cut and roast tomatoes at 450 F for 30 min. Towards the end of the 30 min, drop in the sliced onions and garlic cloves as well in the container in the oven.

Cool and grind in the blender. Transfer to a pot and turn on the stove. Add salt, sugar, pepper and paprika and bring to a boil. Add milk and adjust consistency. Add oregano and basil and boil some more. Serve hot.
