    1 cup toasted almonds
    3 egg whites
    1/3 cup honey
    1/4 tsp salt

    1/4 cup sliced or broken toasted almonds


Heat oven to 350
line a loaf pan with greased parchment paper.
toast almonds and then process into fine crumbs using food processor. mix with honey into fine paste.
Beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form, fold egg whites gently into almond paste
transfer to loaf tin lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with toasted sliced almonds
bake for 20 -25 mins
let cool completely, cut into squares or bars makes 8 servings
