Canned Yams - Sweet Potatoes in Syrup, 1.25 cup
Canned - Kidney Beans, 1.75 cup
Canned - Cut Diced Tomatoes, 1.75 cup
Canned - Great Northern Beans, 1.75 cup
Canned - Tomatoes Sauce, 8 oz
Canned - Whole Kernel Corn, 1.75 cup
Canned - Black Beans, 1.5 serving
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
Green Peppers (bell peppers), .25 cup, chopped
    Carrots, .33 cup, chopped
    Brown Sugar, .25 cup, packed
Barbecue Sauce (I use plain ol' Kraft), .25 cup

Season to taste with chili powder, garlic, cumin, hot sauce, and fresh cilantro

Rinse black beans, kidney beans, and great northern beans. Drain sweet potatoes and corn. Mix all ingredients together in one large pot.

Bring to boil then lower heat and simmer for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

SERVING SIZE: about 1 cup
Serving recommendation: For more protein, cut a Lightlife Smart Dog into 1/4 inch slices and mix into one cup of chili.

Rinsing beans and substituting fresh ingredients cuts down on the amount of sodium.
