This is a delicious, healthier version of a kid favorite! This is a delicious, healthier version of a kid favorite!
Number of Servings: 8


    1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
    1 Package Velveeta shreds
    2 cans of no-sodium added tomato sauce
    1 whole box of whole wheat macaroni
    2 tablespoons of light butter


Boil macaroni.

While macaroni is cooking, brown beef in skillet. Drain.

When macaroni is done cooking, drain pasta; return to pot and stir in 2 tablespoons of butter.

When butter is melted, add beef, tomato sauce, and Velveeta shreds. Stir until completely mixed and cheese has melted.


Note: all measurements are approximate. You really just need enough tomato sauce to cover the noodles, and enough cheese to give it that "beefaroni" taste. You can adjust measurements of any to suit your own taste.

Serving Size: 1/8th of the total amount cooked.
