    1 c rolled oats
    1 c buttermilk
    1 c flour
    1 t baking powder
    1/2 t baking soda
    1/2 t salt
    3/4 c brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c butter, melted
    1 c blueberries, fresh or frozen, thawed and well drained


Combine oats and buttermilk in small bowl. Let stand. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and brown sugar. Stir well to blend. Add egg and melted butter to oat mixture. Mix well. Add oat mixture all at once to dry ingredients. Stir until all ingredients are moistened. Gently fold in blueberries. Fill well greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 400 for 15*-20 minutes.
