    4 medium apples (I prefer Empire or any firm sweet/Tart variety)
    2 Tbsp sugar & cinnamon mixture
    2 Cups (appprox) Cran-apple juice (Ocean Spray Brand my favorite) **
    1/3 Cup honey
    1/2 fresh lemon

    **(Use slightly less juice for a more syrupy effect)


Microwavable 2 Qt. dish with lid
1. Remove peel from upper 1/2 of each apple & core. Place upright in cooking dish
2. Sprinkle sugar/cinnamon mixture on peeled surfaces of apples
3. Add enough juice to cover lower 1/2 of apples
4. Drizzle honey over apples
5. Squeeze lemon juice over apples. Add slivers of peel from squeezed lemon.
6. Microwave on high in covered dish for 7-8 minutes
7. Chill before serving
