A slow oven baked roast. A slow oven baked roast.
Number of Servings: 10


    12 oz. can cola,
    10-3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup,
    3 pound boneless chuck roast
    2 onions thinly sliced
    salt and pepper to taste


Combine cola and soup together; set aside. Plase roast in pan; salt and pepper the roast to your taste; pour soup mix over top. Add onions to top of roast covered in soup mixture; cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 2.5 - 3 hours.

The serving portion of meat is determined by the size of roast you are cooking. Use this formula to help find the serving size.

For at 3 pound roast which is 48 ounces
For a 2 pound roast which is 32 ounces
For a 2.5 ounce roast which is 40 ounces

Take the total ounces of the roast divide by the number of servings which is 10 to determine the number of ounces in a serving.
