    5 granny smith apples
    1 package of yellow cake mix
    2T sugar
    1T cinnamon
    1/2 stick butter
    ice cream


Preheat oven to 350
Peel; slice; core and chop apples into approx 1 inch pieces. Put into a deep dish.
In a separate dish mix the cake mix, sugar, cinnamon and butter. Put over the apples
Cook for 45 - 55 minutes until apples are tender.
Serve with icecream
