My mom's waffle recipe with a slightly healthier twist! My mom's waffle recipe with a slightly healthier twist!
Number of Servings: 12


    4 eggs
    2 cups Buttermilk
    2 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
    1 teaspoon Baking Soda
    3 teaspoons Baking Powder
    1/2 cup Butter, melted
    1 individual container Mott's Applesauce, Cinnamon


Mix all ingredients together. Pour by the 3/4 cupful on waffle maker. Enjoy!

Note: You can also cut the eggs in half for a lower fat option. I've also used a half cup of pureed squash instead of applesauce and no one knows! Still so yummy! Applesauce is usually on hand in my house, so it's a quick and easy grab.
