    1/4 c unsalted butter
    1/4 c light corn syrup
    1/2 c half & half
    3.625 oz brown sugar
    1 tsp vanilla


Stir constantly during this whole process!!! Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat. Add sugar in middle of pan and stir slowly until well combined. Add cream and corn syrup. Cook on medium for a minute, then raise heat to med-high till boiling. Reduce heat to medium and continue boiling for about 5 minutes or until caramel forms soft balls when dropped in cold water.

Serving Size: Makes about 12 spoonful servings
