Introduction
Delicious, moist banana bread. Delicious, moist banana bread.Number of Servings: 20
Ingredients

1/2 c shortening (Crisco)
1 c sugar
2 eggs
3 mashed bananas
2 c flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1t salt
1/2 c chopped walnuts
Directions
I make my dough in the food processor. You can use a standing mixer or hand mixer.
Grease & flour bread pan
(Note: the ingredients only listed tablespoons for crisco shortening. The converter calculated 1/2 cup to be 8 T. )
Cream together: 1/2 c shortening and 3/4 c sugar.
Add 2 eggs, one at a time. Mix in.
Mash 3 bananas, mix into above batter.
Add: 2 c flour, 1/2 t baking soda, 1 t baking powder, and 1 t salt. When these are blended add 1/2 c chopped walnuts, mix in.
Pour batter into the greased & floured pan. LET SIT FOR 20 MINUTES.
Pre-heat over to 350 and bake for 1 hour.
Serving Size: Loaf makes 20 slices
