    cup of Buttermilk
    1 cup of Plain yogurt or reduced fat sour cream
    cup fresh chives
    1-tablespoon fresh dill
    1-tablespoon fresh basil
    Sea salt to taste
    Freshly ground black pepper to taste
    1 fresh garlic clove, minced



1) Combine all ingredients in a "Magic Bullet" or food processor to chop herbs until they are fine.
2) Pour the dressing into a recycled dressing bottle.
3) For a thicker dressing or for a veggie dip: use more yogurt or sour cream.

    This ranch dressing was tasty. I did use dried herbs, and I bet the fresh herbs make all the difference. I might use a smaller clove of garlic next time also. - 5/31/11
