This is a hearty favourite for cold nights! This is a hearty favourite for cold nights!
Number of Servings: 8


    1 tablespoon Olive Oil
    1 medium Onion, chopped
    1 stalk Celery, chopped
    1 cup Sweet Bell Peppers, chopped
    2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
    3 tbsp Spelt Flour (you can use whole wheat)
    1 cup water, approx.
    2 cups Mixed Vegetables, frozen


Heat Olive Oil in a large, deep frying pan or dutch oven. Gently saute onions, celery, beef and peppers. When beef is cooked through, sprinkle flour and stir util mixed in. Cook for a few minutes, then add water to make a slightly watery gravy (gravy will thicken as it cooks). Cook for about 10 minutes, then add frozen veggies. Simmer until veggies are cooked, but not soggy.

Serves 8.
