    Beef, bottom round,
    Basil, 1 tsp (remove)
    Marjoram, dried, 1 tsp (remove)
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp (remove)
    Salt, 1 tsp (remove)


Rub roast with basil, marjoram and pepper. Place meat on rack in open roasting pan. Roast 1.5-2 hours until done. (25 minutes per lb. )
Place meat on cutting board , sprinkle with salt, let stand for 10 minutes for easier cutting . Serve w/ pan juices.
