These are low fat and healthy. I like them with light sour cream. These are low fat and healthy. I like them with light sour cream.
Number of Servings: 8


    1 head of cabbage
    2 cups cooked brown rice
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 lb ground chicken
    1 egg
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    3 cups tomato sauce
    2 tsp lemon juice
    2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste


Bring a large pot of water to a boil and place cored cabbage in the boiling water. Remove the outer leaves as they soften. Set leaves aside.
Preheat oven to 360 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine rice, onion, ground chicken, egg, garlic and salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl or large measuring cup, mix together the tomato sauce, lemon juice and worcestershire.
Place about 1/4 cup of the meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Roll leaf and tuck ends in to enclose filling.
Place rolls into a baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Pour sauce evenly over cabbage rolls. Cover baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for an hour and a half.
