    6 cups rolled oats
    1/2 c wheat germ
    1/3 cup ground flax seed
    1/4 cup coconut oil
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 T vanilla extract
    1 T cinnamon
    2 t salt
    1/4 cup pecans
    1.5 cups water


Cook all ingredients in pot until sticky. Then put into 2 cookie sheets and break up into small bite size pieces. Bake at 300 degrees, stirring every 10 to 15 minutes. If you find the pieces too big and not drying well, then continue to break up as it bakes. Bake about 60 to 90 minutes, until pieces are brown and dry. Cool completely. Can add dry fruit before baking.
