Introduction

One batch of mini-meals with roughly Zone Diet macronutrient proportions: 40% carbs, 30% fat and 30% protein. One batch of mini-meals with roughly Zone Diet macronutrient proportions: 40% carbs, 30% fat and 30% protein.

Ingredients

    20 oz extra lean Jennie-O ground turkey
    7 oz Barilla Plus rotini pasta (dry)
    1 container of Classico Spicy Tomato & Basil pasta sauce (24 oz)
    3.5 Tbsp olive oil

Directions

Boil rotini for 10-11 minutes, drain and divide evenly into 7 small bowls. Brown turkey in oil for 2-3 minutes, then add pasta sauce and bring to a brief boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until turkey is completely cooked through. Divide between bowls of pasta.

Serving Size: Makes 7 servings.
