    Chicken Breast, no skin, 3 pieces
    Beans, pinto, 2 cup (2 cans, drained)
    La Victoria Thick'n Chunky Salsa Verde Medium, 30 tbsp (1 jar)
    Chicken Broth, .5 cup/4 fl oz
    Water, tap, .5 cup/4 fl oz
    Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano, 3.5 serving (1 can, drained)
    White Rice, long grain, 1 cup (boiled/steamed and added before serving)


Spray crock pot with non-stick spray. Place chicken pieces at bottom of pot. Drain pinto beans and pour over/around chicken. Shake well and empty contents of Salsa Verde jar over the entire lot. Using the 1/2 cup chicken broth, pour into Salsa Verde jar and close with cap, shake violently and then pour into pot. This ensures you have all the nifty spices, seeds and remnant hangers-on left in the jar. Pour in your 1/2 cup water. Follow this all up with the can of tomatoes (drained) over top of everything. Cover and set on Low for 8 hours/High for 4 hours.

Shortly (35-40 minutes) prior to serving dinner, boil/steam your rice. You can mix it into the pot or serve as side.
