Ingredients

    6 medium potatoes diced
    3 cups chicken broth
    1 medium onion chopped
    4 carrots pared and sliced
    2 stalks celery diced
    5 cups water
    2 cans chopped clams (or 2 c. ham diced)
    1 lg. can evaporated milk (add last hour)

Directions

Cook everything except evaporated milk in crock pot for 3-4 hours or until vegetables are very soft. Mash slighty with potato masher then add evaporated milk and cook about one more hour. Garnish with fresh parsley if available.
(recipe may be halved)
