    4- quarts of water
    2-Tblsp country crock butter
    0.25 cup canola oil
    1- tsp black pepper
    1- tsp garlic powder
    1- small onion (slice or dice)


put all ingredients in Dutch Oven and boil until tender.
I usually bring to a good boil then turn down and let simmer for an hour.
