Introduction
wanted to try something new - like the crunchy taste! I found the idea off a site called Selfish Vegan. wanted to try something new - like the crunchy taste! I found the idea off a site called Selfish Vegan.Number of Servings: 3
Ingredients
-
*chick peas (cooked from dry), 1 cup
herb and garlic seasoning, 2 tsp (or more)
Olive Oil, 2 1tsp
Directions
The trick with these is to not be impatient!! It's gonna take a while, so just let them roast.
First take a large cast iron pan and heat it under medium heat. use the olive oil to coat it - you don't want lots.
Make sure the garbanzo beans are dry, I dried them in a paper towel first. Add them to the pan. Liberally season them, turning to coat thoroughly. Let sit for 5 minutes. Stir and toss a little more on. Let sit for about 3 minutes. Stir again. I've read they're done when they pop, but I haven't seen them pop yet. So, either I'm not patient enough or they don't really 'pop'. enjoy!!
Serving Size: makes about 2 servings
