Introduction

Spicy spinach soup is great hot or cold, by itself or over rice and is a great low cal snack. Spicy spinach soup is great hot or cold, by itself or over rice and is a great low cal snack.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 quarts of water (filtered, bottled or tap)
    1 lb spinach fresh
    2 lb green beans fresh or frozen
    6 cloves of garlic
    3 tbsp Siracha Hot Chili Sauce (less if you are sensitive to spicy, move if you like it sizzling)

Directions

Bring water to a boil, add green beans and garlic (roughly cut). After 5 mins add spinach and boil for another 15 mins. Add chili sauce. Once cooler, boat motor so that the liquid is consistent (I don't like fibrous chunks).
Enjoy warm with light sour cream or over rice. Great cleanser by itself. Cold is terrific in hot weather.
