Introduction

I miss gravy when I'm dieting... I love homemade gravy and this is an "okay" alternative. I miss gravy when I'm dieting... I love homemade gravy and this is an "okay" alternative.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    * Whole Wheat Flour (2 tablespoons)
    * Canola Oil (2 tablespoons)
    * Skim Milk (1 cup)
    * Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

1. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat.

2. Add 2 tablespoons of whole wheat flour and stir the flour to "brown" it and mix it thoroughly with the oil.

3. Pour milk into the skillet and whisk with the oil/flour mixture for 3-5 minutes until it begins to simmer and thicken.

Serving Size: eight 3tbsp servings
