Introduction

My mom's Cobb Salad recipe. My mom's Cobb Salad recipe.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Salad:
    3 cups Lettuce, shredded (use whatever lettuce you prefer)
    1 Hard Boiled Egg, sliced
    10 g Scallions, chopped
    10 g Bacon, cooked, minced
    1.5 oz Ham, cubed
    2 oz Chicken, cubed
    1/2 cup Tomato, chopped
    1/5 Avacado, chopped
    1 oz Blue Cheese
    1 tbsp Wegmans Mojo Marinade
    1 pinch Black Pepper

Directions

Meats:
Coat chicken with Mojo Marinade and grill until done. Let rest 5 minutes and cut into cubes.
Cook bacon on stove, mince or chop finely when done.

Bread:
Coat bread with olive oil and grill until toasted.

Salad:
Cover plate with lettuce and top with ham, bacon, chicken, egg, and blue cheese. I like to plate this by putting all the ingredients down the plate in a line (see picture). Sprinkle blue cheese, pepper, and scallions over salad. Use your favorite salad dressing (not included in ingredients) to bring it all together.

I like to add half a sliced avocado & greek olives (neither in recipe) to mine, with Wegmans White Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.

Serving Size: Makes 1 big salad.
