Introduction

This is a less thick version of soup. I use the leftover water from cooking a cottage roll for flavour. This is a less thick version of soup. I use the leftover water from cooking a cottage roll for flavour.
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1 cup Split Peas Dry,
    2 medium Carrots chopped
    .5 large Onions diced
    8 cups Water

Directions

Using the leftover broth from cooking a cottage roll, put it in the refrigerator to cool, then skim off all fat. Add vegetables and dry peas to liquid. Bring to a boil and reduce and simmer until peas are tender. Mash if desired. Makes 9 1C servings.
