Introduction

I took one of my favorite Serbian Recipes and replaced the ingredients with lighter options :) it is very good! I took one of my favorite Serbian Recipes and replaced the ingredients with lighter options :) it is very good!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1.25 cups Egg Beaters
    1 container of fat free Cottage Cheese
    8 oz fat free cream cheese
    1 stick of butter
    5 oz reduced fat feta
    1 roll of filo dough
    .5 cup of milk

Directions

Mix with a mixer, blender, or hand mixer all ingredients except for milk and filo dough. Spray or grease a long, rectangle, casserole dish. Put layers of filo dough, then a layer of cheese mixture, and continue this pattern as many times as you like! The last layer should be a thicker layer of filo dough. Then mix about .25 cups of Egg Beaters and the milk and pour it on top. Take a fork and poke the top several times all over. Put in the over at 350 degrees for an hour. The top should be dry and crispy light brown. It is delicious :)
