    Beef, round steak, 8 oz
    *Canola Oil, .25 cup
    *Flour, white, .15 cup
    Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped
    Carrots, cooked, 1 carrot
    Brown Sugar, 3 tsp unpacked
    Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 4 tsp
    Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added, 2.5 cup


Tenderize steak with mallot and cut into serving size pieces. Brown in hot oil. Transfer to casserole dish, top with chopped veggies, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and then pour undrained can of tomatoes over it all. Bake for 1.5-2 hours. Remove meat and veggies from dish. Strain pan juices into measuring cup and add water to reach 1 cup. In a sauce pan, whisk pan juices with 2 T. flour, salt and pepper to taste. Serve over meat and veggies.
