Couldn't wait to make it, so used bananas instead of pears and cashews instead of peanuts - chilled for about 3 hours.....great!!! - 1/8/09

I loved this! I was skeptical, but made it and immediately ate a big bowl for breakfast. I used chopped almonds since I didn't have peanuts, and no pears, so I doubled the apple. I thought it was delicious, and will be making it again! Seems like an easy recipe to play around with, too. - 3/15/09

I was really excited about making this, but unfortunately, it just wasn't good. 1 person out of 7 at the dinner I took it to thought it was "okay" but everyone else said it was not good at all. :( - 9/17/13

This recipe (made with sunflower seeds instead of peanuts) is in a BH&G kids' cookbook I just got. I made it for the kids and no one liked it. I think, perhaps, if the yogurt/pb "sauce" was cut at least in half it might be a little better. - 3/15/09

Delicious! I really like how rich the sauce tastes. I just used what I had...apples, pears, craisins, vanilla yogurt, and peanut butter. You could really add anything that you like to eat with peanut butter. VERY easy and yummy! - 1/5/09

We did not have raisins, so I used a little more pear and apple. Added sliced almonds, since we had that. I used low fat vanilla yogurt. It was very good, sweet, and had crunchiness. I will be making this again. - 8/9/08

This was sooo goood. I used pineapple chunks and strawberry yoghurt. Even my partner ate it and he doesn't like strawberry yoghurt!! My son ate it and he's generally a fussy eater. didn't have the carrots so didn't add these. Thanks for this!!! - 8/8/08

This was really tasty. I reduced the PB and used vanilla yogurt because that's what I had in my fridge, but it was delicious! I'll fix it again and I've passed it on to a friend who LOVES PB! - 8/6/08

It sounds good, but sounds like people didn't like the sauce. I'd try it with cashews or toasted sliced almonds instead. Maybe even some almond butter in place of the peanut butter. - 7/26/08

Good flavor. I added strawberries; I think next time I'll try some of the other substitutions people mentioned! It was good to let it chill for awhile, let the flavors blend and serve it cold. - 7/14/08
