Ingredients
-
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg, beaten
6 soda crackers, crushed
1 onion, minced
3/4 T. parsley, minced
3/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 clove garlic, minced or taste
1 bell pepper, chopped
1/3 can condensed tomato soup
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients except half tomato soup in a large mixing bowl. Gotta use your hands for this. It's messy, but it makes a difference.
2. Pack lightly into a 9 inch glass (Pyrex) pie dish with an upside down pilsner glass in the center (making a ring dish).
3. Microwave on high for about 6 minutes, rotating 1/4 turn halfway thorugh the cooking.
4. Drizzle remaining 1/2 of tomato soup over the top.
5. Microwave on high again for about 5 minutes longer, rotating 1/4 turn halfway though the cooking.
6. Remove the glass, and baste off the drippings.
