Ingredients

    1 can Black Beans
    1 1/4 cup flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar (can substitute with other sugars)
    1/4 cup cocoa powder
    2 tsp instant coffee
1/4 cup almonds (can sub with walnuts)
    1 tsp vanilla extract
3 oz Protein Powder (26g per scoop)
1/4 cup fresh or frozen spinich
    water, just enough to moisten

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish for thinnish brownies or a 9x9 for the thick . Mix dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Puree beans in enough water to make smooth using a food pro or blender. Puree spinich in bean puree Add to the dry ingredients along with the additional water and the vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. Fold in almonds, and spread into a pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges pull away slightly, and middle is set. Tester should come out mostly clean, but this is a judgment call on how well done you like your brownies.
