The brats come out so tender that they just melt in your mouth! The brats come out so tender that they just melt in your mouth!
Number of Servings: 12


    12 Johnsonville Original Brats, any flavor
    2 (12.2 oz.) Red Stripe Lager Beer
    1 large yellow or white onion, thinly sliced


1. Pre-heat oven to 300 F.
2. Layer onions, brats, and beer in an ovenproof container.
3. Place in oven for about 30 minutes.
4. Remove the brats from the oven.
5. Strain the onions and dispose of the beer.
6. Lightly brown brats on outdoor grill...this probably will take about 10 to 15 minutes.
7. When ready to serve, place brat on a bun with some of the onions and mustard, if desired.

Makes 12 sandwiches.
