Introduction

I altered what my family calls the best pancakes ever to make it a little healthier. These are just as good. I altered what my family calls the best pancakes ever to make it a little healthier. These are just as good.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup flour
    11/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    6 Tablespoons Saco dried buttermilk
    2 cups water
    1/2 cup egg beaters
    4 Tablespoons light margarine melted

Directions

Add all the dry ingredients in bowl and mix.
Add water to all the dry ingredients and stir well.
Add eggs to mixture and stir well.
Add melted margarine and mix well.

I ususally use 1/4 cup of mixture to make pancakes, put on hot grill and cook. You can use this same recipe to make waffles, just track how much batter you put on waffle iron. Makes about 15 pancakes.
