A wheat & flaxseed bread made easy with a bread machine. A wheat & flaxseed bread made easy with a bread machine.
Number of Servings: 16


    1 1/2 cups buttermilk
    1 1/2 T. melted butter
    2 T. brown sugar
    3/4 Tsp. salt
    2 1/2 cups white flour
    1 1/3 cup wheat flour
    1/4 C ground flaxseed
    1 1/2 Tsp. yeast


Add the buttermilk, butter, sugar and salt to the bread machine. Add the white flour, wheat flour, flax seed and yeast. Use the white bread, light crust and 2 lb. loaf settings. Cool completely before slicing.
Makes 16 - 1/2 inch slices.
