Introduction

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 large cabbage (I like to use Savoy)
    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 lb lean ground pork
    2 c finely chopped onions
    1 pkg Knorr's Veg Soup MIx
    2 tsp (or to taste) Frank's Hot Sauce
    1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp dill
    salt & pepper to taste

    For Boiling:
    3 grated carrots
    1/4 c peppercorns
    1/4 c whole cloves

Directions

Steam cabbage until pliable.
Saute onions until soft.
In large bowl mix meat, onions, soup mix & seasonings.
Roll meat mixture into the cabbage making sure they are tight.
In a large soup pot place a layer of leftover or ripped cabbage. Layer cabbage rolls with grated carrors, peppercorns and cloves.
Cover with water and bring to a rolling boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 2 hours.
Let cool and freeze.
Reheat in micorwave with your favorite spaghetti sauce and serve with rice.
